From a single foster home to saving thousands of dogs
How We Started
Founded in 2018 after rescuing a severely injured pitbull from a dumpster, Paws Haven began as a single foster home. We obtained 501(c)(3) non-profit status in 2018 (EIN: 82-5052439) and have since:
- Rescued over 2,500 dogs
- Maintained 100% volunteer leadership
- Channeled 92% of donations directly to animal care
- Received Charity Navigator's 4-star rating
Our Mission
As a no-kill shelter, we provide:
- Emergency rescue services 24/7
- Complete veterinary rehabilitation
- Behavioral training for traumatized dogs
- Lifetime sanctuary for unadoptable cases
