How We Started

Founded in 2018 after rescuing a severely injured pitbull from a dumpster, Paws Haven began as a single foster home. We obtained 501(c)(3) non-profit status in 2018 (EIN: 82-5052439) and have since:

  • Rescued over 2,500 dogs
  • Maintained 100% volunteer leadership
  • Channeled 92% of donations directly to animal care
  • Received Charity Navigator's 4-star rating

Our Mission

As a no-kill shelter, we provide:

  • Emergency rescue services 24/7
  • Complete veterinary rehabilitation
  • Behavioral training for traumatized dogs
  • Lifetime sanctuary for unadoptable cases
